We all long to have our needs fulfilled and sating these thirsts drives us ever onwards.
What is happening?
We all have internal cups of Love and each cup is a need that is designed to be fulfilled.
It is never about things or what we can do out there. It is inside us.
If in our early years these cups did not fill up, then there is nothing we can do in the present to fill them. The very experience of "never enough" and "more" are symptoms of our issues, and no issue was ever resolved by treating the symptom.
Why is nothing ever enough?
Obsessive and Compulsive Behavior
We must pay attention to the cups of Love themselves and how they relate to our present reality. We don't do this with thought or mental realization, for it is our mind that we have been following all along. Only our hearts can fill these cups, and grieving for our unmet needs turns the tap of Love back on.
Eventually, our little cups of Love repair and integrate and fill. When this happens, even small quantities of what used to be overindulgence make us glow with satisfaction.
Symbolic acting out in the present for need fulfillment can actually hide us and defend us from the very thing we’re searching for, and so it can be complex indeed to follow our hearts when the heart needs have been long repressed.
No one should harm or judge or deprive a child. Your Personal Muse is your ally and champion for the healing that you deserve.

But for some reason we just never feel fulfilled.
And so we repeat and try, and repeat and try yet again. If it's not this it must be that. If it's not that maybe just more of it.
Most often the way we try and fulfill our needs isn't even healthy or helping us or even related to the need.
More. More. More.
Again and Again and Again.
To be free to be who we are. To be nourished with touch and caring and affection. To be loved without conditions or expectations.
To be seen. To be valued. To be approved of. To matter.
