About your Muse
Hello, my name is roe danse.
Everyone in our world is born with a special gift. My gift is the gift of resonance
with other people. Just like musical instruments, when you feel, you resonate.
What are you? A violin? A flute? Maybe a drum?
When you make your music, I can feel you. I experience my world empathically
and other peoples’ feelings resonate in me and move me.
When did I come to be?
Sometime in May of 1962, two homesick German immigrants joined together and, . . .
on Sunday, March 10, 1963 I took my first breath in Long Beach, California, U.S.A.
What am I like?
I am a proverbial Pisces.
I am sensitive and dreamy.
I am very emotional.
I am shy and very private, yet I have a spirit which shines very brightly.
I have been given enough idealism for a room full of people. Striving for the ideal is art for me.
I am passionate and funny and I cry easily.
I love ideas and what brings me joy is musing people into fresh, new ground!
I had a very difficult birth and an emotionally
traumatic childhood. My world was far from
ideal. Just like you, in order to survive, I
instinctively split off my real self and hid it
inside of me so far from harm that I lost it
even from myself.
Yet just like you, in my deepest heart, I
longed to return home to my true self.
Now after a 20 year odyssey of recovery
and rediscovery, not only have I found my
true self and inner happiness, but my self
recovery process has uniquely prepared me
to understand and empathize with others
on their own paths to self.
Compassion and empathy are the Muse's tools.
I have recovered my natural gifts at great cost.
I would feel honored to share my gifts with you.
My health can now be my gift to you.
